Allen Stevenson “Steve” Crain, age 72, of Greenbrier, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at St. Thomas West Hospital. Private family graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 24th in the Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Crain was born July 4, 1950, in Greenbrier, to the late Burton and Norma Crain. He was a Plant Superintendent at Unarco Material Handling in Springfield.
Steve is survived by his wife of 54 years, Debbie Crain; son, Chad (Angie) Crain; daughter, Tracy (Greg) Riddle; 5 grandchildren, Alexandria Allen, Ty Crain, Pierce Riddle, Victoria Riddle, and Trevor Crain; 1 great grandchild, Gunner Crain; and sister, Joy (Edgar) Carter, Linda Richards, and Melissa Bridges.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
