Allen R. “A.R.” Smith, 87, of Townley, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Carbon Hill Health and Rehab.
Family will be receiving friends Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11:30 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Minnie Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Rita Studdard (Jimmy); grandchildren, Matthew Guthrie (Randa) and Natalie Pair (Justin); great grandchildren, twin baby girls on the way, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence “Buddy” Smith, Jerry Key, Daniel Germain, Eddie Call, Dennis Leith, and Brian Earnest.
