Allen Fay Parker Allen Parker of Pulaski passed away June 22nd, 2024, in Mount Juliet, Tennessee surrounded by his family. He was born on August 7th, 1943 and was 80 years old.

Allen was a loving father and grandfather that was born in Giles County, Tennessee. Allen met the love of his life in Pulaski at Martin Methodist College. In his later years, he was a loving and devoted caregiver for his wife. He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he obtained his Master’s degree in Education. Allen was as a teacher and principal at Campbellsville School. He served as the supervisor of special education, supervisor of secondary education, and he retired as interim superintendent for Giles County Schools. Allen was a longstanding member of the St. Andrew’s Methodist Church where he served as the treasurer. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends, woodworking, and photography. He found great pleasure in curating heirloom quality items for his 4 grandchildren. Allen was involved with the Giles County Rotary Club where he was recognized as the Paul Harris Fellow. He was the President of the girl’s little league softball for years, and enjoyed dedicating his time to the program.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 26th, 2024, from 11:00am until 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Peden Parker, Jr. and Mary Lee Hyatt Parker, His wife of 50 years Rita Anne Zimmerman Parker.

He is survived by his,
Daughters, Alana (Randy) Scruggs of New Port Richey, Florida.
Alicia (Michael Farnam) Parker of Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Parker Scruggs, John Carter Scruggs, Buchanan Farnam, and Birdie Farnam.
Lifelong friend, Judy Mayfield.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Charles Burger for his devotion and friendship over the years.
