Allen Lendon Irons, 71, of Florence, died Saturday, March 19, 2016. His visitation will be Tuesday, March 22nd from 12 Noon until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. His funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Riverbend Cemetery.
Mr. Irons was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lois Hill Irons; sons, Allen Irons (Jennie) and Joe Irons (Kristy); brothers, Will and Gary Irons; sisters, Marie Mitchell, Barbara Weeks, and Shirley Williamson; grandchildren, Clint, Blake, Bradye, and Ashley Irons.
Pallbearers will be Clint Irons, Blake Irons, Tony Ezekiel, Jim Wright, James White, and Jeff Wood.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry McIntyre.
