Allen Ingram Mr. Allen Ingram, age 66 of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his home. Born in Clay County, he was a graduate of Lineville High School. Allen went on to attend the University of Alabama in 1977 where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. After graduating, Allen began working for Delta Airlines, holding many positions before retiring after 26 years of service. Allen and his wife, Lynn loved traveling together and lived in many different places during his time with Delta; starting in Memphis, TN, to Oklahoma City, OK, then to Clearwater, FL before settling in Birmingham for the last 20 years. Allen was an avid Alabama fan, he was an artist that loved to draw, listening to music and going to concerts. Allen was a loving, kind, sweet and considerate man that would help anyone that needed it and just loved people. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity with the University of Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn “Lynn” Ingram of Birmingham, his mother, Evelyn Taylor Ingram of Ashland, his sister, Lynn Seal (Charles) of Lexington, KY, his sister-in-law, Cathy Stinson (Tommy) of Birmingham, his nephew, Jeffery Seal (Mary) of Covington, KY, two nieces: Dana and Kelly Stinson, one great-niece, Adrienne Seal, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Ingram.

Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
