Alleen “Allie” L. Doney, age 63 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at St Thomas West in Nashville. She was born in Bedford County on May 6, 1957 to the late John Edward and Dorothy Marian (Hill) Swing. Allie was a dedicated homemaker, and she cherished the time spent with family and friends. She also enjoyed working puzzles and playing games, as well as listening to music and motorcycle riding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Swing. Allie is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Doney of Decherd; children, Tina (David) Doney of Decherd, Leslie (Kenny) Barrow of Smyrna, Robert Tribble of Shelbyville, and Kristy Doney of Clarksville; brothers, Johnny Swing of Shelbyville, Jeffery (Jennifer) Swing of Shelbyville; sister, Diana (Dave) Clouse of Smyrna; fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
