Alice Kennedy age 91 of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in the Oak Tree Manor in Amory, MS.
Born September 19, 1930 in Detroit, AL she is the Daughter of the late John Jackson and Fannie Mae Scott Gilmore and the Wife of the late Samuel Leon Kennedy. She had lived in the Pine Springs Community most of her life and was a member of the Union Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a Daughter, Donna (Charles) Roane of Aberdeen, MS, A Granddaughter, Karen (Leslie) West of Caledonia, MS and 3 Great Grandsons, Ty Murff, Nathan and Sam West.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Samuel Leon Kennedy, a Granddaughter, Shanda Murff and a Brother, Junior Gilmore.
Services held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in the Pine Springs Cemetery. Bro. Mitch Nethery and Bro. Mark Thornton officiating.
