The Message Bible
On January 23, 1936, a wonderful and glorious life began for Alice Jean Pippins. She was the baby girl of Epp and Carrie Pippins. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert William Anderson. And to this union seven children were born. Jean/Mu/Mama/Nana professed a hope in Christ and joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Baldwyn, MS. God saw that Jean/Mu/Mama/Nana footsteps were getting shorter and called her home on March 11, about 10:25 pm.
Memories will forever be cherished by her six children. Beverly “Pansey” Bradley (Charles), Theresa Smith (Avery), Pattie Shelley, Barry Anderson (Tammy), Melissa Mims (Darren), and Julian Anderson (Shaherah “Love”). Eleven (11) grandchildren, thirteen (13) great grandchildren and a host of relatives.
Jean/Mu/Mama/Nana was preceded in death by her husband Robert Anderson, son, Robert Earl Anderson, Jr., grandchildren Gordon and Summer Bradley. Great grands Emily Gates and Aiden Smith. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers, mother in-law, sister -in- laws and brother-in-laws.
Jean/Mu/Mama/Nana will forever be missed. That old tent was destroyed and now she has a new body. No more glaucoma, no more feeding tube, no more bedridden, no more pain. God has wiped away all pain!! Hallelujah!!
