Alice Faye Sims, 86 of Carbon Hill, was born on July 16, 1938 and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Shadescrest Health Care Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
Mrs. Sims was a familiar face at Strickland Drug Store and Sandlin Produce where she worked for many years. She loved to cook and go to the beach but she loved her Family with all she had, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her Mother-Lois E. Cook and Stepfather-Warren Cook; Father-James (Pete) Beasley; Son-Barry Lynn Sims; Sister-Barbara Ann Dedome; Brothers-Franklin Beasley and Robert Edward Beasley.
She is survived by her Loving husband of 68 years-Andrew Hoyt Sims; Son-Andy Sims (Cindy); Daughters-Andrea Kaye Sims and Kim Wisdom (Tommy); Daughter-in-law-Pam Sims (Macie Clark); Brothers-in-law-Christian Dedome and Phillip Sims (Joy); Grandchildren-Candice Matthews (Todd), Ashley Gilbert, Brian Sims (Dede), Emily Hallman (Chase), Gunter Wisdom (Danielle); 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews.
