Alice Faye Bragwell, age 83, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Alice, or fondly known as Mamaw Alice or Aunt Alice, was something else to say the least, a real spit fire who was not afraid to voice her opinions. She was a lifelong member of Isbell Methodist Church and an avid lover of Alabama sports. She loved her family deeply and never missed an event that the grandchildren participated in. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Loyd Bragwell; parents, Chester & Ethel Tittle; and brother, Glen Ray Tittle.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Bragwell; son, Tracy Bragwell (Tabitha); grandchildren, Allyson Jackson (Dillion), Alex Bragwell; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 03, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Michael Cole officiating the service. The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Alex Bragwell, Dillion Jackson, BJ Jones, Ray Tittle, Larry Oliver, and Kale Bragwell.
