Alice Edna Pruett

Alice Edna Pruett, 90, passed away on November 2, 2020, at National Health Care Nursing Home in Anniston, Alabama. Alice was born in Fayette, Alabama on April 18, 1930 and lived in Alexandria, AL, and Saks, AL for most of her adult life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Pruett, her daughter Wanda Dyer of Dalton, Georgia, her parents John and Elizabeth Potter and sisters Minnie Potter, Eurdice Williams and Ivy Thomas all of Anniston, AL.

She is survived by her Granddaughters, Deanna Rountree (James) and Dana Bennett, and ten great-grandchildren all of Dalton, Georgia, a sister, Ann Schneider of Harrisburg, PA, and many nephews and nieces.

Alice worked at General Electric in Oxford, Alabama, for many years and was a PBX operator at several businesses in Anniston, AL. She was a member of Gladeview Baptist Church in Saks, AL. Alice was very fond of cats and an avid University of Alabama fan. She and her sisters spent many hours playing her favorite game of Yahtzee when they were able to see each other. She had lived at NHC Nursing Home for the last eight years. Many thanks to the staff of NHC for their care during this time of her life.
