Funeral services for Alice Ann Hunt, age 71, will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2pm at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Skelton officiating. Interment will follow at Bowers Chapel cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11am and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Hunt, who worked production at Emerson Electric, passed away at Jackson Madison County Hospital on Monday, June 27, 2022.
Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents James and Lucy (Mitchell) Samples; a sister, Patsy Nell Samples; and her husband, Joe Hunt.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Goad of Dyer, TN and Tisha Hunt and husband Jason of Hazel, KY; a son, Jeff Hunt of Trenton, TN; three sisters, Linda Alexander and husband Ray of Humboldt, TN, Carolyn Samples of Humboldt, TN, and Pam Hall and husband David of Bradford, TN; one brother, Ray Samples and wife Francis of Trenton, TN; four grandchildren, Cody Hunt and wife Addison, Drew Hunt and wife Emilee, Jeffery (Bubba) Hunt, and Trinity Hunt; and five great-grandchildren, Ara Hunt, Brelee Hunt, Cooper Hunt, Jaxxon (J.D.) Hunt, and Luca Hunt.
