A Celebration of Life Service for Alfreda “Joan” Hudson 78, is set for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 17, 2022 at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with Bro. Ed Kennedy and Bro. Rayburn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

Joan died Monday, February 14, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born November 28, 1943 in Alcorn Co. MS. To the late William Alfred and Ruby Nash. She was a long time member of New Liberty Baptist where she taught her adult Sunday school class, sang in the choir and help with VBS. She was retired from ITT, she enjoyed working puzzles, coloring, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Neil Hudson; parents; brother Bill Nash.

She is survived by her son, Brian Hudson (Beth); daughter Phyllis Murphy (Todd); grandchildren, Matt Murphy, Meredith Murphy, Brooke Hudson, Brady Hudson; a great granddaughter, Josie; sisters, Linda Parker, Nelda Parker, Shirley Woodruff, Jane Hudson; brother, Tim Nash; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers, Matt Murphy, Brady Hudson, Jerod Bronson, Mike Nash, Mike Johnson, Greg Adams.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Thursday from 1:00 to service time at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors.
