Alfred Stanley Hughes, 71, of Florence, Alabama, passed away Jan. 8, 2015, after a brief illness. Mr. Hughes was a retired general laborer and a native of Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Hughes is survived by sons, Thomas and Edward Hughes; daughters, Stacey Robertson, Jennifer Eagerton, Patricia Mara, Diane Andreottola, and Kelly Bennet Horrack; sister, Betty Bjorkman; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Louise Hughes and Patricia Elaine Hughes.
There was a private family service held for Mr. Hughes.
