Alfred “Randy” Carr, age 59 of Heflin, passed away on December 15, 2024. He is survived by his furbaby, Peppy Louis; longtime companion, Norma Cavender of Heflin; son, Donald (Jessica) Massey of Fruithurst; sister, Cheryl Fox of Oxford; brother, Larry Carr of New Hampshire; and one spoiled granddaughter, Chloe Beason.
Randy was a resident of Cleburne County for 30 years. He loved working in his shop and spending time with family and friends. Randy also enjoyed hitting the trails on his 4wheeler; he loved all dogs and bird watching. Randy will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Oxford Lake Pavilion #8.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Alex and Bonnie Jean Carr; step-son, Chris Beason; and bonus mom, Carol “Maw Maw” Cavender.
