Aleksandr Etenko, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Nov. 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Lev Etenko, mother, Rogneda Etenko, and his wife, Nina Etenko.
He is survived by his children, Maksim Etenko and Anton Etenko; and his grandchildren, Savannah Skipworth, Faith Etenko, MacKenzie Etenko, and Riley Etenko.
A chemist by profession, Aleksandr was involved in cutting edge research and development that ultimately provided him an opportunity to relocate his family to the United States in 1997.
Before and after retiring in 2015, his focus was on his family. Aleks loved playing, admiring, and doing science experiments with his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He was an endless optimist, and his legacy will live on.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel with The Very Reverend Father Timothy Cremeens, PhD officiating.
