ALEA Arrest Nine On Child Predator Charges…Part Of Operation Broken Heart II

BIRMINGHAM-A release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, (ALEA) nine alleged child predators were arrested in Alabama on Friday, June 19th.

Here is the content of the press release:

“These arrests are a result of the 61 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces across the nation, including ALEA’s ICAC Task Force, two month joint effort called the Operation Broken Heart II. The operation also resulted in the seizure of numerous digital devices containing child pornography.

“ALEA’s ICAC Task Force set out to locate and arrest predators who use digital media and devices to prey on children,” Secretary of Law Enforcement Spencer Collier said. “Operation Broken Heart II is a true testament to the efforts of law enforcement to protect our children, and it should serve as a warning to other individuals who may be involved in such crimes.”

Those arrested from Alabama during Operation Broken Heart II were:

Richard Bryant, 60, of Ardmore charged with one count of Failure to Provide Required Registration Information and booked into the Limestone County Jail.
Michael Brandon, 37, of Hoover  was charged with one count Possession of Child Pornography and one count Dissemination of Child Pornography and booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
David Adam Knight, 35, of Decatur charged with one count Failure to Provide Required Registration Information and was booked into the Morgan County Jail.
Darren Venable, 26, of Rainbow City charged with three counts Possession of Child Pornography and was booked into the Etowah County Jail.
Anthony Andrew Tew, 67, of Eufaula  charged with two counts Possession of Child Pornography and two counts Dissemination of Child Pornography and was booked into the Barbour County Jail.
David Vance Kaiser, 55 of Falkville  charged with one count Failure to Provide Required Registration Information and was booked into the Morgan County Jail.
Danny Carl Oliver Sr., 61, of Odenville of Falkville was charged with one count Failure to Provide Required Registration Information and was booked into the Morgan County Jail.
Brenson Forrest Humphreys, 29, of Mobile charged with one count Transmitting Obscene Material to a Child By Computer, one count Electronic Solicitation of a Child and four counts Possession with Intent to Disseminate Obscene Matter Containing Visual Depiction of Persons Under 17 Years of Age Involved in Obscene Acts and was booked and was booked into the Mobile County Jail.
Sam Wesley Conaway, 47, of Citronelle charged with three counts Possession of Child Pornography and was booked in the Mobile County Jail.”
