Albertville Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident In Marshall County

MRSHALL COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday, January 31 that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, has claimed the life of an Albertville man.

Arturo F. Orozco, 34, was fatally injured when the 2006 Honda Civic that he was driving collided head-on with a 2022 Mack truck driven by Larry W. Williams, 58, of Gadsden. Orozco was not using his seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Williams was injured and transported to Marshall Medical Center South for treatment.

The crash occurred on Alabama 75 near the 51 mile marker, less than one mile north of Horton, in Marshall County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
