Albert Reph,Sr. age 88, of Detroit, AL passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at NWMC Winfield, AL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church with Military Graveside services and burial to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Bro. Jason Clifton to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Albert George Reph, Sr. was born on January 19, 1931 in Bethlehem, PA to the late Raymon Reph and Mary Ann Milligan. He was a retired United States Army veteran who received the following service awards Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medals, United Nations Service Medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, Republic of Korea-Korean War Service Medal, and Korean Service Medal W/1 Silver Service Star. Albert previously worked for Grumman Aircraft in New York City, NY. He was a member of the Detroit Methodist Church. Albert enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his grandchildren, especially dressing as Santa Claus for them during the Christmas season through the years as his health would allow. Albert also loved and enjoyed his dogs and other animals.
