Albert Otis Norton age 92 of Athens, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Norton was born October 19, 1922 in Limestone County, AL to Straud Norton and Willie Smith Norton.
Services will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with David Cox officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Norton was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. He was a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran.
Preceded in death by a son, Al Norton; and wife, Mary Turner Norton.
Survived by one son, Jimmy Norton and wife, Ann of Decatur; two daughters, Clara Shannon and husband, Gary of Florence, AL and Molly Weeks and husband, Howard of Moulton, AL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ruth Gardner of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Curt Norton, Daniel Shannon, Jonathan Summers, Jay Cornelius, Don Turner and Marion Pepper.
