Albert Leonard “Al” Fellger, age 63 of Mentone, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Fellger was born on February 7, 1959 in Illinois to the late Phillip & Grace Geppert Fellger. He worked for Children’s Place and attended both Howard’s Chapel and Hidden Manor. He served our country in the United States Army.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Thursday at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Bankhead Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12noon until the 2pm hour of service.
He is survived by his wife, Nena Fellger; children, Christina Wilbanks, Wendy Fellger, Amy Fellger, Stacy Fellger, and A.J. Fellger (Carol); 17 grandchildren; aunt, Dagne Geppert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Butch Fellger, sisters, Susan Fellger and Linda Miller; and grandsons, Michael Bell and Chandler Russell.
