Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Albert H. Porter of Estill Springs.  Mr. Porter passed away October 24, 2022 at NHC Tullahoma.  Mr. Porter was a native of Chattanooga, TN.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force on February 1, 1955.  He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7) and retired October 31, 1980 following 26 years of service.  In 1982, following his military career, he began a second career with the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1999.  Mr. Porter was a lifelong University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. Mr. Porter is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Mary P. Porter; his sisters, Ruth P. Biggs, and Aneita P. Helton. Mr. Porter is survived his daughter, Therese M. Porter of Estill Springs, TN; sons, Michael D. (Sandy) Coyle of Tucson, AZ, Peter J. (Lisa) Coyle of Charlotte NC, Richard A. (Julie) Porter of Clarksville, TN and Albert D. (Lisa) Porter of Northford, CT.; grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Porter, Michael Dean Porter, and Nicholas Coyle; great-grandchild, Hailey Autumn Pascerelli; sister, Evelyn P. Elsea.  The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home Saturday November 5, 2022 between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m.  The funeral service will be conducted Saturday November 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Watson-North Chapel.  Interment will follow in Watson-North Memorial Park full military honors. Mr. Porter’s sons will be serving as pallbearers.  Josh Jackson will be officiating.
