Albert Benton Watson, 92, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born on February 27, 1931. Benton was a member of Midway Church of Christ. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and then went on to work at Monsanto/Solutia for 35 years.
Benton was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Myrcle Shelton Watson; son, Timothy Watson; granddaughter, Shannon Parker; parents, Jim and Vera Watson; one brother, Kenneth Watson and one sister, Juanita Lowery.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Shela Johnson (Garry), Kim Traylor, and Sandra Thomas; grandson, Brad Terry; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Tritt, Rena Jordan and Barbara Blanton.
