Alan Nelson Wright  Alan Nelson Wright, 40, Tuscumbia, died June 21, 2024 in Greeneville, TN. Alan was born April 26, 1984 to parents Danny and Lisa Wright. He was given his middle name in honor of his grandfather Nelson Hester. He was preceded in death by his parents Danny and Lisa Wright; grandparents, Nelson Hester, and Jack and Geneva Smallwood; aunts and uncles, Larry and Denise, Kenneth and Amy, and Wayne Wright.

Alan is survived by his son, Danny Alan Wright; brother, Jon Wright (Kim); nephew, Emmitt; niece, Norah; aunts and uncles, Tony, Darrell, and Gina Smallwood, Clanton and Mary Hester, Chris and Kim Claunch, Mia Rogers, Angie Carpenter, Marie Smallwood, Teresa Wright; and numerous cousins and friends.

Alan was kindhearted and would do anything he could if you needed his help. He loved big and loved to laugh and joke around and be sarcastic. In his life, Alan suffered a lot of tragedy and heartache, but he is finally at peace. All his survivors can have joy through the sorrow. Alan is now reunited with all of those we have lost and loved so dearly. All of his imperfections and relationships have been made perfect through his faith in Jesus Christ and he is now surrounded by love and life. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kindness and Morrison Funeral Home for their assistance.

The visitation for Alan will be Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, June 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia with Pastor Ronny Poag officiating. Burial will follow the service in Piney Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Smallwood, Josh Goins, Anthony Hester, Lee Wright, Jon Wright, and Emmitt Wright.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alan’s honor to Restoration Ranch P.O. Box 767 Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
