Alan Lewis Porter, 59 of Lacey’s Spring, the Morgan City Area died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Crestwood Medical Center, E.R.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at New Canaan Baptist Church in the Union Hill Community of Morgan County. Brother Eldridge Criscoe, officiating and eulogy by Brother Jake E. Porter. Burial will be in the New Canaan Cemetery, Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Evans Hall, Taylor Hall, Thomas Hall, Micah Hill, Zachary Hill and Stacey Ison. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of New Canaan Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City. He will also Lie-In-State at the Church on the day of the service from 10 to 11.
