FLORENCE-Held in Wilson Park (renamed Fountain-on-the-Green on weekend of the faire), the Alabama Renaissance Faire was held in Wilson Park this past Saturday and Sunday. The park was packed with folks partaking of period foods and drink….renaissance music filled the air as people greeted each other in period costumes and enjoyed the many arts and crafts booth on the Green.
