MONGOMERY-This week David Hood, bass player and original member of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, also known as The Swampers, talks with Community Arts Program manager Deb Boykin. He recalls his early years as a musician and his work as a session player at FAME. Hood also describes the recording process at the Muscle Shoal Sounds Studio and talks about what it was like to work with the wide range of musicians who recorded there.
