Agnes Rosie Southern Duval , age 91, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away at her residence December 16, 2018. She was a member of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church-East Franklin. She was employed for over 40 years in the textile industry.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 12 noon- 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard funeral home-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ron Horton officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Thomas William Southern(Vivian Kay), Patricia(Jimmy)Riddle; daughter in law, Sara Southern; sisters, Geraldine Freshour, Betty Joe(Troy)Lambert; grandchildren, Deborah(Rodney)Shirley, Sean(Valerie)Southern, Ethan(Keri)Southern, Lisa(Jamie)Green; great grandchildren, Wil Beckmann, Allison-Kate Beckmann, Logan Southern, Carson Southern, Connor Southern, Baylee Southern, Ella Southern, Cooper Southern, Blaze Shirley; her puppies, Jodie, Chloe, Mollie.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Kress Southern, Albert Duval; son, Norman Curtis Southern, parents, Thomas Franklin Eldrado and Hattie Cooper; grandson, Justin Riddle; brothers, Leadis, Jack, ER Cooper; sisters, Donella Roberts, Emma Lou Glenn, Frances Southern, Janet Gazaway; nephews, Jimmy Gazaway, Tommy Cooper; niece, Connie Myers.
