A Memorial Visitation will be held for Agnes “Opaline” Allen on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Ms. Allen passed away on October 20, 2020. She was born September 7, 1930 to Oronoco James Atlas Lethieu Henson and Nona Adeline Dabbs Henson.
She loved to play rook and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Houston “J.H.” Allen; son Johnny Allen; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by sons, Tim Allen, Huntsville, AL and Greg (Amy) Allen, Toney, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Dreggors, Jacob Allen, Zachary Allen, and Ashley (Caleb) Thomas; great-grandchild, Cade Thomas.
In Lieu of Flowers the Family request donations be made to the Ardmore Senior Center, Ardmore, AL.
Due to Covid-19, the Family Request that Mask Be Worn While in the Funeral Home.
