Agnes Geraldine Abernathy, age 94, of Florence, passed away December 12, 2018, sleeping in peace at her residence.
Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2018 from 11 a.m. until noon at New Hope Church of Christ, Florence. The funeral will follow at noon with Brother Carl Seigenthaler officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Florence Brown; son, Kenneth Abernathy; two sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Woodis; sons, Jimmie Abernathy and Ronald Abernathy (Bonita); daughter-in-law, Dianne Abernathy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
