Agnes Briggs passed from this life on April 4, 2015 at Mitchell Hollingsworth at the age of 97. She was a faithful member of East Florence Church of Christ for over 50 years.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 12 to 2 at Greenview Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow visitation in the Greenview Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Anthony Briggs and David Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Briggs ; parents, Fred and Hettie Townsley; sister, Orene Wallace; brothers, Lloyd, Wilber and Dale Townsley.
Agnes is survived by two sons, Gerald Briggs (Connie) and Bobby Briggs (Jan); six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; special friend Linda Harris and faithful visitor Pud Harrison.
