ADPH investigates possible foodborne outbreak in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE-The Alabama Department of Public Health was made aware of a possible foodborne outbreak in the Russellville area, Franklin County, on Wednesday. 

Assistant State Health Officer Dr. Karen Landers stated that three persons have positive salmonella cultures and nine additional cases are being investigated.  The department is gathering information to identify possible common sources.

As soon as more information concerning this possible foodborne  outbreak  becomes available we will have it here.
