Mr. Grace passed away Saturday morning at his home in Bolivar.

A native of Jackson, TN, he was the son of the late Lesley Lee and Margaret Curry Grace and graduated from high school in Jackson with the class of 1948. Mr. Grace was united in marriage to Ann Grace on January 24, 1953. Mrs. Grace passed away January 30, 2007.

In 1953, Mr. Grace moved to Bolivar where he was the owner/operator of Motor Parts and Bearings for 40 years. He served his country as a member of the TN National Guard, achieving the rank of Captain prior to his retirement. Mr. Grace was a long-time member of the Bolivar First United Methodist Church where he served as a teacher for the Men’s Sunday School Class for many years.

He leaves two daughters, Teresa Grace Clement of Corinth and Deborah Ann Petty of Bolivar; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Deming of Santa Maria, CA, Justin Lynn Petty of Bolivar, Melissa Ann Russell of Bolivar, Valerie (Mike) Fuoco of Alexandria, VA and Mitch Higgins of Corinth; and 5 great-grandchildren, Isak Ross Deming, Kindel Russell, Kilee Russell, Layla Petty and Jude Fuoco.
