Adelene Thornton Tirey, 97, of Spanish Fort, passed away on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at 1 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, with burial in the Bethabara Cemetery of Berry. Levi Sides will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Tirey; parents; William Earl Thornton and Birtie Pendley Thornton; sister, Thelma Thornton Clark; and grandparents, Rufus and Ella Pendley.
She is survived by her son, Willard Lynn Tirey; grandson, Brandon Neil Tirey; granddaughter, Cheryl Tirey Esterling; sister, Bertharene Thornton Yates; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
