Addie was born on March 28, 1937 in Lawrence County, Alabama to John Nelson Kitchens & Mary Etta Privett. Addie was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 24, 2024 at the age of 86, just 4 days shy of 87.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 28 from 12-2 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with graveside servce to follow at Roselawn Cemetery at 2 PM with Pastor Robert Lee officating.
She was a long time member of the Eastern star & pilot club. Many have known her as Ms. Lee or Memaw from her time being a manager at Morningside Shop Ezy for 15 years & at Funland Self Storage for 14 years.
Addie “Lee” was preceded in death by her father John Nelson Kitchens, mother Mary Etta Privett, two brothers John Horace Kitchens Sr. & Robert Dean Kitchens, sister Fannie Mae Kitchens Daniels, husband Fred Edward Wright Jr, and son Carlton Wayne Wright.
She is survived by her sister Minnie Bert Kitchens Fairbanks, two sons Ronald Edward Wright & Donald Lynn Wright, and step son Fred Michael Irish; grandchildren Patrick Irish (Lauren), Britni Fuqua, Whitney Ralson (Stephen), Tiffany Coleman (Caleb), Russell Wright (Kala), and Stephanie Wright; great-grandchildren Zoey Fuqua, Harper Ralson, Isabella Collier, Andrew “Bentley” Collier, Brylee Wright, Johnny Coleman, Memphis Wilkes, Rylan Wright, Eleanor Wilkes, and Griffin Irish.
Paul Bearers: Stephen Ralson, Caleb Coleman, Bentley Collier, Patrick Irish, Richie Willingham and Mike Miller.
