Charles Kyle Adcock to be returned to Colbert County
COLBERT COUNTY – According to media reports from Dallas, Charles Kyle Adcock got a job as a Worship Leader at First Baptist Church of Bedford Texas. Adcock was arrested last year about this time after being accused of over 25 counts of child sexual molestation while we has a Youth Minister at the Woodward Avenue Baptist Church.
His hiring by the Texas church alarmed many people in the community after word got out. Bedford is a suburb of Dallas. According to reports, Pastor Steve Knott hired Adcock. A Dallas organization of molestation survivors, called SNAP, found out about Adcock getting hired and started raising red flags with law enforcement authorities.
Upon learning of this Colbert County District Attorney, Bryce Graham issued a warrant for his re-arrest this afternoon. Adcock will be returned to Colbert County within a few days. Several months ago Adcock was released on bond, against the advice of D.A. Graham, to the custody of his parents.
