Abbigail Galloway Owen, age 27, died at her residence in Lee County on November 17, 2022. Abbi was born on January 13, 1995 to Daphne Flanders Burson and James Galloway. She graduated from Abeka Academy, then later continued her studies completing her Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University. She then attended Mississippi College Law School and was presently enrolled in the School of Accountancy of Mississippi College. Abbi enjoyed shopping and she had a sophisticated sense of style. She always lived her life in the lap of luxury and loved bling. She attended Cross Pointe Ministries in Tupelo and Lee County. Abbi also had a love for animals and shared her affection with her cats Juicy and Keke.
A Service Celebrating Abbi’s life will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Reggie Miller Officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2020 from 3PM-5PM and from noon-service time on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Ken Finney, Joel Anderson, Chad Flanders, Kane Richey, Dylan Dragoo, Ted Dragoo, Frank Galloway, Jerry Burson and Dewayne Burson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kasey Flanders and JP Dragoo. Abbi is survived by her mom, Daphne and the father that raised her Steven Burson of Mantachie; her sisters, Lila Grace Burson and Lydia Burson of Mantachie; her biological father, James Galloway(Linda) and his children Eli Galloway and Carrie Durham: her grandparents, Bob Brophy of Adams, TN and Allen & Brenda Burson of Mathiston, MS; Abbi also leaves behind her husband Chad Owen and a host of aunts and uncles. Abbi was preceded in death by her grandmother Jackie “GaGa” Flanders Brophy and Grandfather Cordie Flanders and grandparents Loris and Mary Alice Galloway.
