A visitation for Aaron Lee Myers, age 35 of Oxford, will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Myers passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. He was born in Anniston, attended Lineville High School was a drummer in the LHS Band, and worked at TNT Landscape during high school. He met his wife, Kayla while working at the Piggly Wiggly in Lineville, and lastly worked for John Co. Truss in Lineville. Mr. Myers enjoyed doing yard work and taking care of his plants. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games with his siblings, and listening to music and playing guitar. His latest hobby was restoring antique furniture. Aaron was described as goofy, with an infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor. He was dedicated to his family, and loved spending time with them.
Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Kayla Myers of Oxford; two daughters: Aubrie and Autumn Myers, both of Ashland; his father, Greg Clark (Vicky) of Delta; his step-father, Mitch Cook (Felicia) of Dublin, GA; four sisters: Amber Mitchell (Steven), Angelica Nettles, both of Lineville, Amy Allen (Jimmy) and Kayla Jacobs (Codey), both of Delta; 5 brothers: Andy Clark (Kristi), Adam Clark (Kasey), Mikey Mitchell (Catherine), Austin Partida (Jessica), all of Lineville, and Cody Butler (Kaitlin) of Heflin; his grandmother, Glenda Carter of Delta, plus a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Penny Paulette Nettles Cook; grandparents: Raleigh and Clara Nettles, and Ed Carter; and his Aunt, Annette Hardeman.
The family requests no flowers, instead they would prefer donations be made towards Funeral Expenses. Donations can be brought to Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
