A. Robert Williams, age 78 of Douglas passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home.
He retired from Coca-Cola with 46 ½ years of service. He was known as “The Coke Man.”
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Douglas Cemetery. Bro. Chuck Baker will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cody Williams, Charlie Williams, Robbie Bobby Frank, Harley Collins, B. J. Allison and Ed Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Fleming and Darion Powell. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of service at 2:00.
He is survived by his son; Little Bob Williams (Sharon), daughter; Candy Millican, grandchildren; Brandon Williams (LeeAnn), Charlie Williams (Danni), Joey Terwilliger (Tricia), Dagen Millican (Lena), Jesse Williams (Autumn), Cody Williams (Bailey) and Kylee Millican (Ryan), fourteen great-grandchildren, sister; Lucy Anderson of Georgia and brother; Lonzo Williams of Snead and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Zebedee and Addie Williams, former wife and friend; Lynda Williams, and his siblings; Bud, Bunk, Carl, Sonny, Roy, Johnny Lee, Dicie, Dessie, Sharlotte, Sis and Crick.
