A. Jean Tapp – Obituary

A. Jean Tapp, age 81 of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, October 21, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Edmond James and Randy Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Tapp was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Molly Thompson; sisters, Doris Borden, Ruby James, Elsie Waldrep, Pauline Holmes and Mary Lee Elliott and brother; Carl Sidney Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Inman and husband Dan; brothers, Terry Thompson, Jimmy Thompson and Larry Thompson; sisters, Elizabeth Hall, Joyce Hardy, Linda Smallwood and Kathy Wilbanks.

Pallbearers are Jerry Inman, Dan Inman, Kerry Thomas, Sam Meadows and Dale Fleming.

Jean’s family would like to express special thanks to the staffs of, Cottage of The Shoals, and to Hospice of the Tennessee Valley.
