A.D. Wooldridge A.D. Wooldridge, Jr., 89, affectionately known as “Poppie”, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born November 24, 1933, in Tupelo, to Audie Dink “Buck” and Maddie Miller Wooldridge, Sr. He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He retired as a tool and die maker after working at Super Sagless for 41 years. He enjoyed camping, boating, and water skiing. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Ole Miss Rebels, and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports, Class of 2014 SHS.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 09, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Tim Green and Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Kenny Wooldridge (Lynn) of Tupelo, and Donnie Joe Wooldridge (Barbra) of Saltillo; one daughter, Sharon Rye (Ronnie) of Saltillo; one brother, Bobby Joe Wooldridge of Mantachie; one sister, Geneva Barnes of Mantachie; four grandchildren, Carley Elizabeth Wooldridge, Anna Claire Wooldridge, Christy Spencer, and A.J. Rye; three great grandchildren, K.J. Hollingsworth, Kenzie Bailey and Josh Bailey; several nieces and nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, whom he married in 1956, Elizabeth Ann Waddle Wooldridge; one brother, Robert Wooldridge; two half -brothers, Kenneth Wooldridge and Ed Rogers; three half -sisters, Hazel Byars, Gladys Rogers, and Minnie Thompson; two nephews, Mitch Barnes and Michael Waddle; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Bradberry, Mark Mallette, Mark Cooper, Craig Waddle, Tommy Byars, and William Byars.

Honorary pallbearers will be Super Sagless Tool and Die employees.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
