Alan Larry Nave, 79, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Nick Barnett and Pastor Chris Barnett officiating.
Alan was a member of Bridgeway Baptist Church and enjoyed his time serving as a member of Kings Messengers Gospel Quartet for forty-seven years. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Nave, and mother, Juanita Puckett Nave.
Alan is survived by his wife, Jean Nave; and children, Larry Nave (Laurie) and Rebecca Barnett (Chris), all of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Blake Barnett (Hilary), Watauga, TX, Hannah McDougal (Austin), Russellville, and Layne Nave, Moulton; step-grandchildren, Jordan Gilbreath and Kelsey Gilbreath, both of Cartersville, GA; great-grandchildren, Jayden O’Brien, Ellie Grace Barnett, and Hudson McDougal; brothers, Charles Nave, Decatur, Paul Nave (Delree), Tellico, TN, and Mark Nave (Anita), Hartselle; brother-in-law, Charlie Sharp, Tuscumbia; and many extended family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Nave, Charles Nave, Mark Nave, Blake Barnett, Layne Nave, Austin McDougal, Kenny Runager, and Charlie Sharp.
