Leamon Dale Nave  Leamon Dale Nave, 81 of Athens, passed away April 28, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital, with her family by her side. She was a member of Round Island Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her church family.

Mother was the kindest, most loving mama to walk the earth. Words cannot express how much we loved her and how greatly she will be missed.

She was our best friend, our laughter, our biggest supporter, and the breath that we breathe.

Our hearts are broken. We lost so much when we lost our precious mama. She was our sunshine on a cloudy day. Our pain will never go away, she will be forever in our hearts. We are so blessed that God chose her to be our mama.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Mitchell of Decatur, and Paula Nave (Johnney) of Athens; two grandchildren, Levenia Pepper and Braxton Pepper of Huntsville; brothers Marlin Wilson, John Wilson, and Charlie Wilson; sisters Jimmy McMahan, Charlotte Pack, Sandra Johnson, and Linda Adams.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby (Buddy) Nave; parents Jim and Nina Wilson; brothers James Wilson, JC Wilson, Billy Wilson, and Horace Wilson; sister Patricia (Pat) Wilson; son-in-law Dean Mitchell; and special friend Sherrill Pepper.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Brother Mike Green officiating. Visitation will be 1:00-1:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Braxton Pepper, Greg Swanner, Jeff Lavender, Tony Pack, Randy Wilson, and Johnny Wilson.

If roses grow in Heaven Lord,
Please pick a bunch for us.
Place them in our Mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from us.
Tell her that we love and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
We do it every day,
But there’s an ache within our heart
That will never go away.
