William Joseph “Billy Joe” Aycock Sr. 88, of Decatur passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1933 in Morgan County, Alabama to Claude and Margaret Aycock Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister in law Claude Richard Aycock Sr.(Sue), He is survived by his wife, Mary Nixson Aycock; two sons, W. J. (Joey) Aycock Jr., and Dan Aycock and five grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 11:30am until 1:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
