Charles Earl Wolfe

Charles Earl Wolfe of Guntersville, Alabama, formerly of Sweetwater, Tennessee passed to his heavenly home Monday, March 22, 2021.
Charles was an honorable, devoted family man and an avid outdoorsman. He was a graduate of Hiwassee College and Tennessee Technological University. He served honorably in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division, Infantry. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Stars for bravery in a combat zone, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Badge with Pistol and Rifle, Good Conduct Medal, Gallantry Cross, Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Charles retired in 2006 after 26 years with Tennessee Valley Authority.
Charles is sadly missed by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Mincy) Wolfe, their daughters and families: Carrie and Adam Bishop, Chloe and Archer; Julie and Keith Lay, Silas and Caleb.

A private family celebration of life honoring Charles is being planned.
