Suspected Rapist Charged In Sheffield Rape

SHEFFIELD-Travares Terrell Garner has been charged with the following charges,  first-degree rape, first-degree burglary, first-degree theft of property, first-degree robbery and first-degree sexual abuse, According to Sheffield police detective Captain Scott Wallace.

Garner  was picked up by members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and is being held in the Colbert County Detention Center a $250,000.00 bond.

Although the address given by Garner was 1003 Webster Drive #B in Huntsville  authorities said Garner told police he was living on Hatch Boulevard at the time of the attack.   Reports also  indicate he had been living in Tuscumbia.
