“Our beloved Michelle Brooks gained her angel wings late on October 22, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Rodney, and her two children, Bailey and Beau.

It is hard to find words that would begin to describe who Michelle was and how special she was to so many. Michelle was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and was known as “Ellie” to her five beautiful grand babies that she loved with her entire heart. Michelle radiated a light in so many lives of the people she loved. Her faith was so profound through her life and this incredibly hard journey.

Michelle demonstrated a love that so many were drawn to. She made a mark on so many lives. Many have shared that she taught them how to love and be a friend to others just by experiencing the way she loved and valued them. We are forever grateful for the memories and legacy she has instilled in us and the world is a better place simply because of the years she was in it. We thank God for blessing our lives with such an incredible person for as long as we have had and we will miss her every day until the day we are reunited again.

Michelle was known as “Ellie” to her five grandchildren, Brody Wyatt Brooks (7), Maddie Grace Brooks (5), Ridley Grace Lambeth (5), Laikyn Tyler Lambeth (3), and Eston Banks Lambeth (4months).

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Howard Eston Boyd. Survivors include her incredibly loving husband of 41 years, Rodney Brooks; her mother, Donna Boyd; her children, Beau Brooks (Lauren), and Bailey Lambeth (Jacob); her sister, Nancy Daniels (Mike); her brother, Steve Boyd; and her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Church of the Highlands on Whitesburg Drive. Her celebration of life will take place immediately following at 2:30PM.

Michelle had a deep passion for helping St. Jude. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor and memory.”
