Daniel Jackson “Dan” Ledlow, 87, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, October 15th, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Tom Martin officiating. Interment will be at Old Brick Cemetery.

Dan was a lifelong resident of Nitrate City and a longtime member of Nitrate City Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Reynold’s Aluminum and was an advocate for Alabama Sheriffs Boys and Girls Ranches.

Dan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Georgia Ledlow; father, Lonnie Ledlow; mother, Kathleen Ledlow; brother, Roman Ledlow; sister, Cathy McClure; and son-in-law, Byron May.

He is survived by his daughters, Glenda May Grigsby (Bobby) and Kay Osborn (Eddie); grandchildren, Mandy Dean (Jamison), Matt Osborn (Bethany), and Mary Katherine Ray (Christopher); great-grandchildren, Kyla Dean, JB Dean, Walker Osborn, and James Ray; and nieces and nephews, Cathy Ann Davis (William), Jason McClure (Brandy), Phillip Ledlow, and Melinda Clayton (D.D.).

Pallbearers are William Davis, Jordan Davis, Clayton McClure, Chase Aday, Zac Aday, and Kyle Clayton. Honorary pallbearers are Ronny Aday, Freddie Conley, Phillip Ledlow, D.D. Clayton, and Jason McClure.
