Rita Jo Mangrum, age 71 of Tullahoma, passed away on July 27, 2023, at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. She was born in Winchester on November 23, 1951, to the late James and Etta Jo Tucker Rose. Rita worked in the customer service department at Wal-Mart, where she later retired after twenty-five years of employment. Her hobbies included playing card games on her phone and bingo, watching Alabama Football, and rescuing animals, especially dogs. Rita loved watching westerns and cherished her trips to the mountains. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and strong-willed woman. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, James and Etta Rose; husband, Roy Mangrum; daughter, Robbie Jo Bearden; siblings, David Rose, Jean Yount, Ruth Yount, Monkey Rose. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Bearden, Kim (Matt) Blankenship; grandchildren, Camden, Brook, Brittany, Dakota, Denver; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy (Betty) Rose; niece, Bridgette; nephews, Joey and Tracy.
