HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Huntsville that has taken the life of a 17-year-old:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. Saturday, June 17, has claimed the life of a Toney juvenile.

The 17-year-old was fatally injured when the 2015 Hyundai Sonata the teen was driving left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The youth was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Jeff Road, approximately two miles north of Huntsville, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
